Tell me why a rodent is in my INTERIOR!!
My car has sat in the garage for a while, I was just doing some work in the interior and I noticed some chewed up paper... then I relized a whole sheet was missing. I found maybe a 1/4 of it. Looked in the glove box, my registration had all kinds of chunks torn out of it. So I started to look around in the passenger footwell where the chewed up paper was. I'm thinking it could have gotten up in a heat vent and I would have to pull my damn dash out to find him. Then I checked near the trans tunnel and some chewed paper fell out from there. I pulled off the shifter console and looks to be a little more but no nest.
I am lost, I am hoping I don't have to pull my dash out and I really hope he didn't get a hold of any wiring. At least my engine harness is out of my car for now. I had problems before with rodents and I bought an electronic pest repeller, after that it pretty much went away. So I got an extension cord and left the pest repeller on in my car. He better hope he can find his way out before I go buy some sticky paper because if I get a hold of him alive... I might have to bring out the blow torch and cut off wheel.

Bwahahaha make the little bastard suffer!!!!!!!!!!
No, actually, you should probably let him go. He's trapped in your RX-7 and he specifically, out of respect, chose to eat your registration instead of your upholstery, so I think he deserves a pardon. He'll probably leave with the repeller in place - leave the glove compartment open so he can get out - just hope he doesn't die in there; the smell will NEVER go away.

Caught the bastard. I set up 2 sticky traps and 2 normal mouse traps on the passenger side and 2 sticky traps on the driver side. I kept checking the passenger side but no luck, today I went out to the driver side and he was stuck. I am thinking he was in my heat/ac system so I should remove it all and find his nest. Does anyone know an easy way to pull out the heat/ac w/o removing the dash?
Oh yeah moral of the story, electronic pest repellers dont do dick.

I had a situation like that with my Camry, but the rat pooped on my radiator fans. I never found the guy, but I'm thinking he got cooked, died, and fell out when I was driving.

The car has been shut but w/o the engine harness in place there is a hole in the firewall, today I shoved a towel in the hole so nothing else could get through. I just threw the sticky pad away with him on it. He was going to get torched but broken93 was right, he chewed up paper not my seats.

You gotta be careful with this, it could cost you!
True story:
I lost my original motor because a rodent of some description decided to crawl into my engine bay, and have a nap in my radiator shroud. I went out for a drive on a nearly 100 degree day with the A/C on, and by the time i saw the factory needle move, my o-rings were toast. The little booger got wedged in there, and prevented the fan blade from spinning, and shorted the fan motor... when i found and took him out of there, he was baked-up like a hockey puck from the heat, and sure as anything, my car was dumping coolant after shutoff within weeks.

I had one crawl into my tailpipe. When I started the car it sputtered and popped. Shut it down and had it towed to the Mazda mechanic. He just let the car run and cooked the sucker. It stunk to high heaven for a while!
Now when I store the car for the winter I put mothballs around the tires and under the hood. That seems to work well.

in my talon i found a huge nest under the spare tire and was wondering how crap got in there, well theres 2 rubber circle plug things and one was missing : /, dont how how a mouse would have gotten in there regardless but I havent found any mice, it probly fell out.
