tell me my engine isnt dead!!

Ok heres what happend..

I go to the gas station and fill up, 93 octane. As soon as I started my car it began idleing really shitty. This continued for my entire drive accompnied by shitty boost and power. The next time I started my car it took like three tries. Has this ever happend to anyone else, I think I may have gotten a bad tank of gas? Hopefully its not my motor.

Bad gas is unlikely if it did this immediately after you filled up. There is good fuel in the lines that has to get consumed before the bad gas starts getting burned.

Check your map sensor hose, if that somehow came undone, that would cause a really bad idle.

If you want, you can try to pull the trailing plugs (one at a time) and the circuit opening relay, then crank the engine and listen to the compressed air escaping from the open plug hole. If you hear 3 strong "chuffs", then you may be ok. If you hear only one strong chuff and two weak chuffs, then you may have a dead apex seal.

BTW, you are pulling removing the circuit opening relay for this test so that you aren't injecting any fuel and flooding the engine while you perform the test.

Hope that helps.

update!!

Map sensor seems to be fine.

For some reason the car all of the sudden drives fine. About 30 minutes ago I started the car again, again it started like ****. But about half way home the car seem to come back to life. Now it idles fine, good boost, and has good power. Do you think its possible that I let the fuel level get to low and sucked up something bad, air maybe? anywho.. tomorrow im going to get all that **** I should have gotten a year ago, air/fuel gauge, fuel pressure gauge, and a new temp gauge. At least with the gauges I could have crossed out the failing fuel pump idea.

btw.. im pretty sure the apex seals/coolant seals are fine, the car is not spitting out any smoke and there are no bubbles in the coolant. Thanks for the help though..

It isn't dead.
Just change your plugs, and it will come back to life.

I think it's probably bad gas. FDs are very sensative to gas quality. Use only good reputable brands.
