TC Sportline Strut Tower Bar?

Saw this on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-94...48528626QQrdZ1

Anyone ever used this strut tower bar or heard of this company? I'm looking for a strut tower bar that will clear my LS1 intake better and this one looks like it might. I'm just a little hesitant because I don't know if this is Ebay junk or not. Is this company reputable? From the photos it looks like it's pretty good quality.

Thanks,

Michael

Personally, I wouldn't trust anything off ebay with regards to chassis stiffness.

With some modification, the OE R1 strut bar fits. My motor is raised slightly with polyurethane mounts, and I have about 5mm clearance at the highest point of the intake manifold.

How is the quality of the bar? Do you know if the mounts are steel or aluminum (they should be made of steel for strength)?

I have a Cusco bar, and it just barely fits over the intake with some washers. But it rubs on the intake AND on the hood. Instead of trying to modify it (would require welding since it's hollow) I was just considering buying another bar that would work better.

I think it's just a polished finish.

Anyone else seen it in person? Is the bar itself significantly thinner than the Cusco/Greddy or R1 bar? Cause' that's what I need, something that is lower profile.

The advantage of the R1 bar is that it's adjustable... I'd use an R1 bar if they weren't so expensive and didn't require hacking to fit on my car.
