Arrow Taking the plunge... Exterior makeover! Decisions decisions...

Okay, so I'm finally making the move to the outside of the car! Here's my dilemma... I want a LARGE open front end to accompany my front mount and dual oil coolers. I personally like the C-West N1 front end but it seems to not be too popular with everyone else. The only other front end I like is the the classy OEM 99 spec front end. The only problem is that I think it's going to be too restrictive for me.

I always avoided the exterior as I could never make up my mind on what I wanted and lets face it, once it's done there's pretty much no going back. LMK your opinions on what route I should go. I'm also looking to replace the fenders while the front end is done. I WILL be putting the FEED carbon sideskirts on the car and will not be changing the rear bumper. The rear will remain stock and possibly adding a diffuser.

My car is Montego blue if you would like to provide some pictures to refer to. I'll probably add some pictures to show the size of my intercooler to make sure I can fullfill the inside dimensions (it hits the inside of the stock bumper on the top). Thanks guys...

What is your budget? If you like the c-west front bumper, but want something different, c-west made a second version of the original front bumper. Looks much better then the original IMO.

I would say go with 99 spec. The C-West is too sharp edged for a stock bodied FD.
Granted..This example is pretty cut up - But I think it looks awesome.

Ive got a 99 spec front end and feed hood I am debating on selling or using on my MB car. However, the older I get, the more I appreciate the 93 front end.

Just look up pics of DealsGapRotaryRally's car(herblenny/phil). It is about as good looking of an "agressive" fd as you can find out there.

Garage Katugani

It's like a Mazdaspeed GT-C bumper without the lenses (just use factory 99' Spec lights)

Contact CircuitTheroy (Tom) he can get them.

You and I are thinking exactly the same! I love my factory front with the r1 lip! I'll post a picture tomorrow night of my cut front end... Some people think it's hideous and others think it's badass. I just did it for the performance, because sometimes you just have to do what you have to do and go with it!

I might have to take you up on the 99 front end. I really wish I could get the FEED hood but I'm 100% sure it won't fit with my custom upper intake. That's the one actual item I've always wanted. Absolutely the cleanest and most functional hood ever...
