Taking the off the Rear 1/4 panel?
Does anyone have any good tips on removing the rear 1/4 panal on the FD? Due to the no seams i was just wondering where one would cut in order to get it off?
If i can do this i might just keep my RX-7 and instead of forcing myself to get rid of it.
Thanks

Do it right, do it once

Don't do it yourself. Have a bodyshop do it. If you do the R+R of the interior, rear bumper, taillight etc it shouldn't be that expensive.
Doing a 1/4 panel replacement is routine for bodyshops but isn't for a person that doesn't even know how to get it off. Generally speaking shops WON'T cut a thing until they have the new panel.
Cutting before you have a new panel is a bad idea, consider the possibilities...

I just got rubbed pretty badly by some **** faced SUV in the parking lot last week. They took off before I came back to the car and didn't even leave a number or anything. I'm still waiting for news on which body shops have the best prices and all, but I'm hoping they wont have to cut my quarter off to do the work. I was looking at it the other day and figured that if they did have to cut the panel somewhere, it'd be on the C-pillar where the cut line would be the shortest. That's my first ding no this car and although I've had them on other cars of mine, I still can't stand having it on there when I'm driving around because I tend to get self conscious that other people look at me as some punk who abuses a nice car. Damn SUVs! Always gotta be pickin on the little guys! Good luck.
