Take off center console panel?

I need to take off the center piece between the 2 seats where the ebrake handle, ashtray etc is. Is there a step by step on how to do this somewhere? I don't want to break any little clips or anything while I try to figure it out and then have to go pay 5 billion dollars for a new one. Help!

The center console snaps into place. Just start on one corner and slowly work your way around pulling upward gently. The only catch are the wiring harness for your switches and such that need to be disconnected if your goal is to remove it completely.

All I do it unscrew the shift ****, and grab the plastic under the shift boot, and pull up. It should snap out pretty easily. Then you have good access to those wiring harnesses.

Installation is the revers of removal. Connect harnesses, lay it in place, push down till it snaps in, and put the **** back on.
