Does anyone know how to separate the lens from the tail lights, without cracking them to be able to paint the circles in them? My friend had done it, but he had cracked one of his lenses.

 

All you have to do is put them in the oven on 200 deg. and let them heat up for about 5-10 min. be careful and keep an eye on them. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes. You don't want to melt your lights. If you search back a bit you should find the thread which explains it.
