switching to stock springs

I currently have H&R springs and Tokico shocks on my car. I want to switch out to stock spring to bring the car up a few inches so I can get it in my driveway. Do I need any other parts than the stock springs? Will i need different shocks?

Thanks,
Shogun

Nope, just switch them out. However, with the stock springs, you'll most likely need a spring compressor to get them back together.

Midas or a shop like that will lend you their spring compressors for a refundable deposit, around ~70 or 80 bucks, so you dont have to buy some.

Hell, you can buy them for about $50.00 dollars, then sell it for about $25.00 dollars, if your never going to use it again.

and you would lose 25 dollars that way, instead of losing 0 dollars.

Opps, didn't see the refundable part.

Might also think about getting a different set of aftermarket springs that don't have as agressive of a drop. The Tein H-Techs are about a 3/4" drop (as opposed to the 1.5" drop of the H&Rs) and also have a very good spring rate for the car.

If you've had the car for a while with the H&R's, you probably wouldn't like the VERY high stance of the stock springs .
