Switching to R1 wing?

Currently I have a Racing Beat Type II wing on my car. It came with the car when I bought it and I like it but I prefer the look of the stock R1 wing better. Found a good cheap silver one in good condition and was wondering if the holes in the hood would be anywhere close to where the R1 wing would have to be mounted. I saw on Crispyrx7's website that the OEM 99 spec and the OEM R1 wing share most of the same holes, does anyone know if the RB Type II has the same mounting points as the OEM 99 spec? Thanks.

you should try to see if anyone in your area has the same color fd as you with a r1 wing and would be willing to trade hatches with you.

Only one other silver FD in the area that I know of and he is wingless. I think I will just stick with the RB Type II for now, don't want to mess with getting holes filled and such. Thanks for the responses.

Rob, if you decide that you want the R-1 wing and you're willing to make a trip to Charlotte, I've got a friend that can fill those holes for you and do it right. I can ask him on the price. (Same guy that painted my car)
