switching out the OMP in the car

I'm in the process of replacing the OMP, I've been trying to find a thread that has good detail on getting to the back upper bolt without much luck. Anyone tips would be much appreciated. I've already got the front and rear lower bolts, even with taking out the wg actuator i dont see a clear way to get to the upper one.

Read Jim's how to a dozen times. Finally got the top bolt though, thanks.

Hey Joe...it's been a while. Sounds like it's a little late, but we could have found time on the lift for it. As you've figured out by now, you're work blind. IIRC, that bolt just requires the right combination of 1/4" drive ratchet and extensions (and vocabulary) to reach. If you have the advantage of being able to swear in more than one language...I'd use it.

I ended up using a ratcheting closed end wrench from the top, and there was definitely ample cursing going on

When in doubt, swear profusely. The same is true of moving furniture.
