switched to synthetic lube in trans and differential

I just had valvoline 80-90 synthetic lube put in my car,and the shifter is as smooth as i have ever felt in a fd.It feels like 50% better,no notchy feeling at all.I had used redline mtl in my 87 turboII way back, and it only worked good for like a week until it got notchy again. I hope this lube is better.

Some say NEO is the product to go with. I've got redline in it now. I'll be trying NEO.

I got great results with royal purple 75w90 in both the trans and diff. Been working wonderfully for a few months now.

Really ANY time you change the fluids, you'll notice really improved shifting. I've used redline MT90, 75W90, and Neo 75W90 and like the Neo the best (but also because I don't want to change it again). Looking to try Royal Purple next time.
