sweet smell from exhaust

Here's the problem i just put on a hi flow cat with a dp and cb, and i fixed my boosting problem which was the rod that connected to the wastegate flapper was disconnected. When I drove my car it pulled like crazy I had this car for almost a year, so I dunno how long this wastegate was left shut, but it boosted properly. but now there is a heavy sweet smell from my exhaust but no visual smoke and also I'm not loosing coolant. the motor only has 30k on it, what do you guys think it could be??????

Don't know....coolant tastes sweet but I don't know about the smell. Oil would be a blue(ish) smoke and gas would be a black smoke. Don't really know Sorry.

New exhaust components have a different smell when you first put them on. I never thought of it as sweet, more like a firecracker or sulphur smell. If you don't have any other symptoms like bouncing idle, loss of power, or smoke, or starting problems then don't worry about it.
