Ok guys, so I took off my coilovers to put the stock suspension back on and in doin so I unbolted the sway bar. I have everything done accept the sway bar... Where it bolts in I'm having trouble lineing them up, It seems like I can get the bold through on one side but not the other and visa versa. I've been at it for 2 days now with no luck, If anyone has any help that would be fantastic!

Check to see if the mounts are bent. Common problem. Mazda sells an updated part for the mounts.



They also cause cracking of the sheet metal where they mount to the frame, which the updated part supposedly fixes with a different contact area. Good thing to upgrade. The updated part along with the RB sway bar brace should eliminate the problem and is the route I took.

Is there anything else you need to remove to be able to remove the sway bar mounts and check the area?

Both sides of the car need to unweighted so that the sway bar isn't loaded. Make sure both sides (front or rear) are up in the air and that the wheels are not on either side. At that point the sway bar should not have any load on it and move freely enough to attach the end links.

+1 on the sway bar mounts. The stock ones suck. Bad. Mine were so mangled up that they actually bent my oil cooler hard lines to where it was almost completely pinched off.

Mazdatrix sells some really nice ones, which is what I'm running now.
