Swapping ECUs

I first posted this in the ECU forum, but I don't think enough people would see it there, and it doesn't really relate to any ONE ECU....just ECUs in general

I am going to be swapping out my stock ECU for an M2 Stage III ECU. I know how to get TO the ECU, but after that...????

I know you can just disconnect the harness, but someone said to make sure not to pull the ground wires. Which ones are those? Anyone have a picture that would show what to disconnect?

There is only one ground there that i know of and that bolts to the frame of the car. I just unplugged all of te 4 yellow plugs and plugged them into the new one with no trouble at all beside the PFC wire cutting.

First order of business, disconnect the negative battery cable!

Then just unplug the harnesses, and plug them into the new ECU.
