suspension bushings

i've been searching for a good bushing set, it seems that the only ones arround are the super pro set, lube groove and another delrin set, it also looks like all 3 sets have been discontinued and really the only option is OEM.

i'd dont really want to get the OEM bushings, they are very expensive, and i dont really want to spend $500 pluss, i've found a few different places that sell bushing sets for the FC for arround $200. and i dont want delrin bushings. so where can i get a reasonably priced set of polyeurothane bushings for my FD?

for whatever reason there was never a mass produced bushing set for FD like they have for FC. Also keep in mind that there are a lot MORE bushings on an FD than on an FC, so the equivalent mass produced set, if such a thing existed, would be a bit more spendy.

When doing the bushings you also have to address all the OEM mazda pivot ***** at the back. Doing the full set of lube groove bushings and all the pivot ***** cost me almost 1000 dollars in just parts last year.

You can probably find a set of Jimlab bushings in the classifieds for $500. You will still need another $400 for the pillow ***** though. Shock mount bushings are probably also worth replacing (another $200).

yea i know that there are more and there are the pillow ball mounts in the rear, right now i just want to get a bushing set and replace the old worn out and oil soaked (previous owner let a bad oil leak cover the bottom of the car). this is just my daily driver so thats why i dont want delrin (too stiff), i'd really like to get a set of graphite inpregnated poly bushings (not too stiff, but stiffer then stock and they have the squeak protection), but i cant find them anywhere.

but where can i find the jimlab bushing set? i check the 3rd gen classifieds every day and the only thing i've seen was a super pro set a few weeks ago.

Post a WTB and I'm sure some will appear. Lots of people ordered these and never got around to installing them.

Mazdaspeed bushings are still available (rubber, 40% stiffer than stock) but the eight front bushings are likely to be $500 or so. Corksport can order them for you.
