Two my friends own a MKIV supra one with a Greddy T-78 single turbo kits and one is BPU++++ (means he have exhaust,mp,dp,intake,AVCR boost controller, some HKS electronics stuff, 50 shot of NOS,etc...) this happen a while ago we decide to have a liitle meet. I was the only guy around my area with a 3rg gen. running a greddy T-78 single turbo kits that I know of. This race happens when I still breaking in my engine with 500 miles on it. I decided to ran my friend T-78 supra first. He didn't want to role with me from a dead stop and he told me to do from a 40mph role reasons for that is because Supra has excellent top end I didn't refuse so here we go I was on 2nd gear going to 3rd and we was dead even then he started to pull away from me knowing that he ran 15psi of boost and I only set my boost at only 10psi. So I felt really good of knowing the potential of my car and its abilities. He thought he could whoop my *** really bad but he didn't. I told him again to race with me from the start but he refuse. That was it. Now imagine now my car nearly 3000 miles on the break-in and 15+psi of boost I would probably kick his ***. My friend BPU++++ stand no chance against me and I easily pull away from him from 40mph role that is with no NOS so then we do it again but this time he spray NOS, WOW! what a difference the 50 shot makes I can hardly pull away from him but he couldn't pass me. That is why he is going single pretty soon. We should do it again at the same amount of boost to make it fair for the three of us. With the right mods done to the 3rd gen. you will be confident you can handle the Supra. That is why I am not hesitate to race against any Supra even if I was still BPU.

Alpine47,

A easy way to beat the supra is to find a twisty road somewhere and show him that the RX7 kicks butt on corners

Straightline stuff is boring anyway (in my opinion)
