Sunroof & heater Questions

2 Questions.

1. The heat doesn't seem to blow very hot at all. When you but it out Head And feet it only blows hot air at the feet. Then when you put it on Only head it blows luke warm air out the top. Anyone have any problems similiar to this?

2. MY sun roof seems to go up just a tad like it wants to open. Then it stops the motor is still going but the sunroof isn't going anywhere. Like it could be stock possibly? Any answers?

Thanks ahead of time
Nik

Heat only blows out of the foot vents.

Sounds like you may need new tracks (which are usually pretty expensive). Not much to tell you but you can try and squirt some WD-40 or something on the tracks, but you'll probably have to get it apart to really see whats going on.

Or the sunroof thing may just be the switch that stops it in the up-but-not-open position. Try pushing the open button again, maybe a couple times.

the trick to my sunroof is...i believe it has 2 settings. press and hold, it will open the back...pesss and hold again and it will slide back.

i also have the same problem with my heater, im not sure whats going on there. haha, foot goes to head, head and foot goes to window..haha its a mess. I just live with it. turn the dial a few times until i feel the air where i want it.

The SUNROOF is SUPPOSED to work that way - The first push on the button opens the panel to the VENT position and the the second push will open it all the way.

The HEATER only sends HEATED air to the FLOOR and/or DEFROST vents - The DASH vents only get FRESH or COOLED (AC) air.

WEll thanks for the heater replys. But on the sunroof I think what it might have been was since it was so cold maybe something condensed. It works perfect during the day i plan on cleaning the track today and oiling them up with some WD-40.

Don't use WD-40,use some grease, white lithium grease is preffered but any lithium or molybdneum disulfide grease will do.
