Summer is here....AC question

My car tries to stall when I turn the AC on and when I have engaged the clutch and any gear. If I put the clutch in but no gear, the car idles fine. Also, it only blows cold air when I am cruising and not at idle. I am seeing 110F heat, could that be it? Thanks for any help.

my car has a similar situation. it seems to want to stall when i'm idle w/ the AC on and although the AC temp stays consistent, it isn't very cold at all.. I see about 90 degree plus weather in so cali

I had that issue (stalling with clutch depressed when in gear, no stalling with clutch depressed in neutral). Mind you this was happening with the Air Con off. It was a broken spring on the clutch switch, so I pulled it apart and fixed it with a spring out of a pen.

Search for "clutch switch" for info on how to check/fix it. Only takes a few secs to check.
