stutter at 3,000rpm on new engine

hiya everyone
just running in my rebuilt engine, i have never driven this car before and it has been stood for 2years

the car revs fine in neutral
drives fine in the lower gears
get to about 3000 rpm in 3rd and it judders, it will drive though it and pick up again but im trying to stay off boost while i bed it in. if you drop it down a gear it dosent judder......

any ideas?

im going to go out on a limb here and say check the rats nest.

turbo precontrol

is it in between 1st turbo and second turbo transition?

what does the EGR bit do?
just looked at the rats nest diagram
dont think its connected
