stupid headlight problem

ok my left housing is slightly pointed downward. so i always have my high beams on so i can see.

so i pressed the button to pop them up. i then tried turning the **** to adjust it and when it went to what i guess is considered too high, it just goes back down a bit.

so then i just left it at as high as it let me go and when i let them down and then put them back up again, it went back to where it was before and its still lower on the left side!!!!

AAAAAAHHHH!!! how the hell do i fix this mother. maybe the motor is turned or something?

thanks

The **** is not an adjustment - it's a manual crank to manually raise/lower the headlights. Handy if the car doesn't have a battery in it.

Are you saying the headlight assembly itself isn't fitting right, or just the beam isn't pointing where you want it? To aim the beam, there are 2 screws around the headlight that are the adjustments - one adjusts left and right, the other up and down.

Adjusting the assembly for proper fit is more involved.

just as dcfc3 said. those **** are incase the motors burn because some peopletry to pop thei r lights when theres 2 inches of ice on their hoods.
whats happenig its since your motor are good the top end switch inside the motor is still energised so it cranks it all the way up.
disconnect the motor and the light will stay but you wont be able to use the inside switch anymore..

well regardless of the beam, the housing itself on the left side is lower than the right side when open.

Adjusting the headlights can be a little tricky. There is some play in the headlight cover itself - you can unscrew it, reposition it, and screw it down in a different position.
