Strange Idle, not sure if it's even a problem
My idle is strange. It's purrs like a kitten and doesn't hunt or even really bounce at all, but it idles at different RPMs all the time. Anywhere from 700-1100. when it gets to the RPM it decides to stop at, it stays there and purrs, but it's not consistent. Anyone hear of this?

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Your throttle mechanism or your throttle cable may be sticking. Try to clen them a little with some WD-40. Your throttle cable may also be a little too tight not letting the throttle settle down to 700 RPMs all of the time. Had it happen so that's why I know.
EDIT: "clen" should be "clean"

The Man
Yes, it's pretty common, my idle is never the same. Some days it sits at 1000 then I reset it and the next day it is at 550rpm. Then I reset it again and its perfect. Touchy little bitch ain't she! It's only a problem if you want it to be. The idle is a little rough below 600rpm and the timing is pulled I believe 22 degrees at 975rpm(that's what causes the slight miss when idling at 975 and up) That's with the stock ecu or an upgraded stocker. Good luck
