Strange idle issue...
I have been having some interesting idle problems with my 7
I've got a 93' US spec FD with the 5 speed manual and I'm running a Microtech ECU
Normally the car, when healthy, will idle at 1000 rpm dead on:
Every now and then the idle will drop significantly, almost so low it will stall out which is very stressful when I'm driving as I cannot trust it, the car feels very weak, vibrating a little too. Like this:
Sometimes the idle will rest a little higher than shown above, but still not at 1000, again, feeling weak:
So this is my new dilemma. In addition to this issue, my car does have the common hot start problem. Will take a couple taps on the gas peddal to get her fired up but she runs and drives fine excluding my rough idle. Could this issue contribute to my idle problem?
She fires right up on cold starts though no problem.
Recent compression test: 100psi on both rotors.
All advice and suggestions are welcome!

I'm a CF and poop smith
is your a/c on when this happens? how is it when you have your driving lights or head lights on?
check the resistance across your ISC solenoid (Idle speed control), should be 10.7-12.3
also, check your fast idle cam and wax rod thingy to see if they are correctly set. (page F-82 on the FSM)
