Strange Air Fuel Ratio Issue between (a/c on and a/c off)

I finally got around to hooking up my wide band... I have a handful of questions but I would like to figure this one out first.

My AFR's were a tad off at idle, they were around 15.3 and my friend recommended shooting for around 14.7

I went into setting 3 in my FC Edit program and set Inj 1000 RPM to 92.2... It did nothing, well the car was heating up and I was getting hot so I decided to turn on the a/c. When I turned the a/c on, the afr's decreased to 14.8 (bingo)... Now I was not done at that point, obviously the car is under a higher load from the a/c system.

I decided to adjust the inj d settings to different numbers at idle ( all the way from 80 to 100 in increments of 2) - the AFR's would adjust accordingly, so they were having an effect.

I did the same thing with the a/c OFF, and the adjustments made in FC Edit had no impact on the AFR's (even though when I did this with the a/c ON it did change my afr's)

What is the deal here??? I think I am onto something and a possible explanation of why when I bought the car two weeks ago, it would run significantly COOLER (20 - 30 Celsius) with the a/c on at idle than with the a/c off. Yes, I know the fans are running when the a/c on, but with the a/c off the temps would climb to 110c.

Do I have a wiring issue or what? I dont understand why the ECU only responds to adjustments made in FC Edit when the a/c is on.

hmm...do you have the airpump still? I dont understand how you can possibly idle at 14.7 mine idles at 13.5 without airpump or it dies/gets really stallable above that

maybe your wiring to the wideband gauge is not grounded correctly causing the measurement to read incorrectly when you increase resistance on the electrical system by engaging the a/c? My fuel gauge was grounded insufficiently and read differently when I turned fans on/off, etc

Air pump has been removed --- apparently, after 90 deg. Celsius it afr's change.

The Power FC is notorious for poor idle control, unless you disable the ISC system. That will let you tune the fuel and timing more precisely, but the ISC valve will not increase the amount of air when the A/C is on, so the car will not "idle up" unless you rig up something custom.

And rotaries do not idle well in the 14's (no airpump), generally speaking. They're usually smoother if they are richer than that.
