I'm going to be storing my car in a covered, non-heated garage for the winter. I plan on modding a good bit while it's stored.

Should I:

a.) Make a habit of going out, starting it, and letting it run for a little every so often during the winter.

b.) put it into hibernation mode

Also what does everyone do with their batteries to keep their life but retain the cars memory?
