My center caps are black. Were they once silver? Has anyone painted theirs? If so, what color?

I am trying to figure if yellow, like the calipers are now, would be too.....weird? I once saw some MOMO wheels on a white car with red calipers and the center cap was red or had a red border.....it sort of complimented the whole package.

Any thoughts?

 

yes, they match the silver of the wheels.I didn't even know they were plastic until recently.
