Talking Stock Turbos

How much horsepower can I expect to get from my stock twin turbos? Which upgrades will give me the best power increase?

Read the stickies at the top for the newbe's. 330 rwhp is a good bet for reliable power from the stockers with a ported engine and good tune.

moehler is right, you always want to make sure you you dont try pushing the limits too much, go for reliability and you will be happier in the long run, not to mention you will have a few more bucks from not breaking anything.

Damn! This forum is harsh on Newbies...

The search button is your friend and so is this sticky thread: "FAQ for 3rd Gen & other useful links"

For modding info, Check out this site: Pros and Cons of 3rd Generation RX-7 Modifications

It was really helpful to me back in the day. I have basically done ALL of the mods on that page, plus some other goodies, and recently dyno'd at 316 rwhp / 260 ft.lbs. I tuned my car myself. It was my first time tuning anything, so I'm sure an experienced tuner like Steve Khan can probably squeeze more power out of my engine.
