Stock Turbo Weight and 99 Spec turbo Q

Does anyone have or know the weigths of the stock turbos? Couldn't find anything in a search.

And are the 99spec turbos are a direct bolt on right? Do they run the same pressure as the the stock, or are they higher?

Direct bolt on and probably weigh about 25 to 30lbs.

I've put on 3 different sets on 3 different cars and maybe it's just because the other turbos were older but expect faster spool and an additional 1 to 2 pounds of boost. You will have to retune or adj the boost.

I've got a set in the garage with all the oil/water lines and WG/PC actuators still attached. I'll weigh them tomorrow and post my results. I suspect they will weigh about 35 lbs.

Sorry bud just cause you like eating **** don't force your diet on me. This was about the weight of FD turbos not how much some parts weighed that you shipped to some people.

Now send me my $20.

Who thinks Jim owes me $20?

The control gate in the exhaust manifold makes it part of the turbo assembly, and you can't bolt the turbos to the engine without it, but whatever.

Now send me my $20.
Right, one $20 bag of ****, coming right up.

Who thinks Jim owes me $20?
Can you find a post in this thread where I accepted your bet? Come on Fritz, you're brighter than this. Or at least you used to be...
