Stock Rx7 only boost 0,6lbs during summer, is it ok?

Hi friends

I have already changes all the pipes of the rat nest for silicone ones.

During summer (here in argentina, summer means 33°) my RX7 wont boost more that 0,6lbs. 0,6-0,5-0,6 ( that´s the pattern that I am getting)

Is it ok? I been told that I may have worned stock twins......

thanx 4 your help!

Alexis

That is normal, I'm in the UK and I get the same reading throughout the year and in the middle of winter.

???

what the 0,6 lbs? or are you talking about 0.6 bar.... in that case 0.6 bar = 8.702 264 28 pound/square inch essentially 9 lbs. that 1 lbs that you are missing is probably due to heak soak. How is your car at night and during your first WOT run?

Your turbos aren't worn. That boost pattern isn't really unusual. I agree with montego - that sounds like heat soaking. A better intercooler or cold air intake can help a lot.
