stock replacement fuel pump?

Apparently the fuel pump on my uncle's 94 rx7 is dead. He's been having hot start problems, but now the car won't start at all. He read (in the factory service manual, I believe) that there should be continuity between the leads on the fuel pump, and there isn't, so he asked me to find a good fuel pump replacement for him. In the subaru world everyone uses walbros, but there's no need for increased flow output in this case (the car is stock), so I thought that may be overkill. On the other hand, OEM is $$$. What would you recommend for a replacement?

I wouldn't recommend anything I wouldn't use, and I'll be installing mine soon.
