stock intercooler ducting question

Ok I sold my black plastic hallow "thing" that connects the stock air box to the stock IC duct. Buyer is having a problem with it not sealing right with the IC duct. He says there is about a 4inch gap between that plastic part and the IC duct. Can somebody please let me know if there is another plastic part that goes between this "thing" and the IC duct. I don't think so but would like to make sure. Thanks

nope...either his stock intercooler is mounted way too close to the engine or he is trying to shove the stock duct too far down into the bumper.
