Stock Fuel Tank Lines / Plugged or Open /

Guys,

What should I do with the stock Fuel Tank lines in preparation of the tank for Braided Fuel lines from hanger to engine ??

I will only use Pressure and Return lines.

Should I cap all other lines at the Tank ??

Or shoud l I just leave them open ??

Thanks..!!

Why not connect them like they originally were from the factory? You can alter supply and return without changing the vent/rollover/evap system.

You're trying to avoid a pressure or vacuum condition in the tank, so don't block off the breathers and expansion tank, you can retain the stock feature or run a line loop, ( up high!).

Even the race cars with dry breaks back in the day retained them -

Because I´ll use a Fuel Surge tank with SS Lines to the engine.

So there´s no 3 hard lines under the car anymore...

The loop, is a semi-circle of hose, typically you route it into the car up and next to the highest part of the cage - zip ties whatever - then back out. It will avoid the risk of the tank spewing fuel out next to a hot exhaust if you roll it and have the breathers uncapped.

Have you looked at hardline with a few bulkhead and flare fittings rather than braid, I try and avoid the stuff whenever possible.
