STOCK FD3S performance?

Someone tell me what the
STOCK FD3S 1/4 mile performance is?

I ran at the track and I am very
disappointed in the NUMBERS i got.
My mods will be listed Below in sig.

Granted that was the first time I ran my fd3s
at a track, and had lousy take offs. bogged
couple of times and just spun another.
And stil running stock boost levels with
stock ecu and big wheels..

I am hoping I am running as fast as a stock FD3S.
*crossing my fingers*

I wo'nt post my TIMES because you guys might
laugh and hurt yourselves.. Its for your safety..
haha

Lataz..

I think like 13.9-14.1 for a 5spd, but I could be wrong..

black 99 is right with his times. If you're bogging and spinning tires, the problem is your launch technique, not the car.

You know, in a drag race, a car can have the lowest E.T. but still lose the race. How is that possible? It comes down to driver reaction time. The time measurement only begins when the car breaks the timing beam. If the light turns green and you're slow to begin your launch, you can wind up with a low E.T. and still lose the race if the other guy had a quicker reaction time and got off the line before you.

13.9's or 14.1's??

hmmmm, wheres my GUN?
I think I gonna go shoot my FD3S.. haha
Just kidding..

So let me get this straight..
Some of the faster FD3S's runs 12's
fastest of them run 11's.. (street driven cars)
And that pretty much with every bolt on performance
upgrades that could be done. right??
From SMIC/FMIC all the way back to CB and
everything inbetween, costing thousands of $$$$$.

So you saying after all that/ people only gain a
Second or 1 1/2 second from stock #'s???

Hmmm... Has anyone RUN a bone stock FD3S
that ran 13.9 or 14.1's???? Highly unlikely eh???
Ya think??

yeah I've heard of people hitting mid-low 13's with little mods like a cat-back. I just wanted to give you the stock numbers.

Yeah, you'll see some impressive CLAIMS. The numbers black99 cites are right in line with all the road tests done when the car came out. In fact, the amazing thing about the FD is how consistent the numbers were. Car and Driver did a retest of a long term 93 touring they had at 35,000 miles and it had the same 1/4 mile E.T. it had when new.....13.9 sec. All the other magazines and Motorweek were all right around the 14 sec. mark.
