A properly running FD is usually noted of being a mid-high 13 sec car with most averages in high 13s (stock). The record is 13.2 a few years ago with a stock car. 60 foot times really depend on driver but usually come in around 2.0 and 1/8 mile is 8.8-9.0 for most stock FDs. Traps are 99-103 mph in the 1/4 most being 101. 0-60 is 4.9-5.3 (after that, yes, your Supra will start to walk ) These are all numbers I remember seeing about stock FDs.

I never had mine when it was stock, it always had a downpipe. With just that my best run was a 13.8@101 with a 2.2 60'. Most runs were about 14.0. I don't think it is possible to get a 2.0 60' time on stock, I think you need slicks to do that. My best 60' ever was about 2.13 (damn missed 3rd gear screwed up the rest of the run).

There was someone on the forum that ran a 13.5 1/4 stock but ended blowing his clutch out doing it the next run. So i'm sure it's possible, just how hard do you want to run it. Most FD's with the basic 4 mods downpipe/intake/exhaust/ECU were running anywhere from mid 12's to mid 13's (depending on driver). Yes, i think most people don't really beat on their daily drivering FD's as much as if it was a strictly drag car.

What do people find that is a good rpm to launch at without burning up the clutch really quick?

TIA

For some reason when I do a good launch its on accident. The norm I hear about is dropping the clutch or easying it out depending on how long you want your clutch to last is around 3k to 3.5k.

When mine was stock I used my gtech -pro to test my 0-60 and 1/4mile time. I did a few runs, I did it on a street so the car was on street tires, no hard launches.
I did 14.0s for all the runs.
I haven't used the gtech-pro after I installed all my mods.

I found the best way to launch is between 3k~3.5k rpm and drop the clutch. No wheel spin and the tech climbs rapidly. That's how I launch my car.

I ran a 13.50 @ 102 with just a cat-back on mine.

1.957 60 foot on crappy 5 year old Yokohama's

I think I dropped the clutch at like 5500 for that run.
