Question stock ecu?

My father is getting an fd which is currently not running right now (needs an intercooler and ecu). It has a street ported engine, down pipe, high flow cat and greddy catback. He is getting it shipped back to our house but I have to go fly out and get the car. I figured that I could just bring my stock intercooler and ecu I have in my basement and put them in to get the car running to make shipping it easier. Would it be ok to just do this just to get the car to and from its shipping location? I figured it should be as long as I didn't boost and babied the car but thought I should check just to make sure.

It should be fine just driving it back. It would most likely be fine even at full bore, if there were a boost controller involved.

yeah you'll be ok, dunno about going wot. might be flowing too much air so you may need topbut in a new ecu or get it remapped when you want to boost it good.
