Stock bov working correctly?
I vented my stock bov to atmosphere to test it out...
the bov seems to open at 10hg and begins making a rushing sound blowing off air constantly>>>>>when more throttle is applied and it hits 0 the valve seals off and the car boosts normally above zero up to 11/12psi then blows off...
is it normal for the stock bov to blow off air under vaccuum...is there anyway I can mod it to stay sealed under vac but still blow off under + pressure?

Mine seems like it's not holding pressure and makes a pulsesating noise like a helicopter when I accelerate. I'm not gonna be stock once I finish my V-mount soon, but hope yours gets fixed.
I am sure that is normal mine does the same thing. Well it did until I swapped it out for and HKS SSQBOV! And letme tell you I love the sound! The forst time I heard it I think I wet myself!
And as for that helicopter sound. That once happend to me when I started to push somewhere near 20psi so if you figure out what that is let me know. My thought is that since the stock bov is only ment for the factory boost that once you star to exceed that they try to automatically relieve themselves. They are relief valves you know.
