Stock ast pressure cap question?
Does anyone know if the stock ast pressure cap fits the spot where the filler cap goes?? My ast was removed without the kit and now that its summer im worried about the pressure in my system not having anywhere to go... so im trying to install a nipple and pressure cap in the waterneck but im having a little trouble locating a pressure cap that fits the spot..

Your preasure will flow into your overflow tank in the same manner that it sucks coolant in.
Where is your overflow hose connected?
As long as that is working fine it shouldn't be a concern.
If you eniminated your AST and your overflow tank and are running off of a system without both, you will have problems.
If you are that worried about it, install an aftermarket AST.

You need to have your coolant system hooked up to the overflow tank.
