i just disconnected the battery and the ecu and alarm reset, and now, the red light blinks, and when i get in the car it blinks faster and it makes that sound like when you forget your lights on or leave your cars in the ignition. and it won't start, but the alarm doesn't go off!!

i don't know how to disarm it, anyoen know how, please help ASAP!!

The only way to shut off an factory alarm is by stiking the key in the door handle and turn the key. Ev7

I look in the factory manual and unfortunatly i dont have the section on body electrical. My other guess would be that the microswitch move by the door key got probably disconnected or is bad. Good luck Ev7

Man that factory alarm has a mind of its own. Take it out ASAP and put something else in. Ive had many embarasing moments with that alarm. Best thing I ever did was disengage it and use a aftermarket type.

I had to tow mine to the alarm installer to!!! You would have to get a wiring diagram if you wanted even to begin disengaging it. Good luck!

by the way

i did a search, had to look for "factory alarm" instead of "stock alarm"

this is all i could really find
Here is a wiring diagram.....
You may also want to make sure you are using the correct parking light wire.(Not the headlight wire)
The Alarm disarm will have to be pulsed with a negative pulse from your alarm (Look for a negative pulse wire) There is no easy way to explain it.

YEAR: 1993 MAKE: Mazda MODEL: RX-7 STYLE:

| ITEM | WIRE COLOR |POL | WIRE LOCATION |
| 12V |black/green | + |ignition harness |
| STARTER |black/blue | + |ignition harness |
| IGNITION |black/white | + |ignition harness |
| SECOND IGNITION |black/yellow | + |ignition harness |
| POWER LOCK |add actuator | |in drivers door |
| POWER UNLOCK |add actuator | |in drivers door |
| PARKING LIGHTS + |red/black | |fuse box |
| PARKING LIGHTS - |gray | |steering column |
| HEADLIGHTS |white/blue *3 | - |steering column |
| DOOR TRIGGER |blue/white | - |passenger kick panel*2 |
| TRUNK/HATCH PIN |gray | - |switch or cpu #2 *5 |
| HOOD PIN |brown/yellow | - |switch or cpu #2 *5 |
| TRUNK/HATCH RELEASE | | | |
| FACTORY ALARM ARM |dk.green/black | - |drivers kick panel |
|FACTORY ALARM DISARM |lt.green/black *4 | - |drivers kick panel |
| TACHOMETER |yellow/blue | |leading ignition coil*1 |
| BRAKE WIRE |green | + |at brake switch |
| HORN TRIGGER |green/orange | - |column or cpu #2 *5 |
| WIPERS |blue/yellow | + |steering column |
| LF WINDOW UP/DOWN |red - green | A |in drivers door |
| RF WINDOW UP/DOWN |blk/wht - blk/yel | A |in drivers door or dkp |

NOTES:
*1 also found coming through the firewall above brake. Set module to the
six(6) cylinder setting.
*2 Can also be found in the drivers kick panel above the relays.
*3 To operate the pop-up motors provide 12v to the white/green, also at
the steering column.
*4 Has also been found to be a pale yellow/red on some models.
*5 CPU #2 is located in the left kick panel.
negative pulse wire?
