Stinger battery to put on TurboJeff Battery Tray

Anyone ever tried this battery?

http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046

The Dimensions are pretty close to identical with the Optima D51R. I know people were having problem with their optimas, and figured this might be a suitable battery that can fit in the TurboJeff battery tray. It was designed for use on a honda/acura, so I believe the polarity should be correct for us too...

What do you guys think? Anyone have this?

-Jeff

i have one of the 51R batteries from autozone (supposedly rated one of the top batteries, with a GREAT warranty) and has been good to me for awhile

It works fine...I've got two 12's in the back with some very large amps...and it holds a charge well. I can't use the tie-down that came with the tray, but I'm just using a rubber strap to hold it in place.

I'd really like something that works better...they don't sell the size that I need over here, practically anywhere.

Ask someone who's in the military to check out the NEX or something for you...I', kind of leaning toward what scrubolio sugested. Pretty damn identical to the optima 51R in specs, but has a 8 year warranty!
