I just had my motor pulled out and shipped back to Atkins Rotary for warranty work. The said that my oil gasket was bad and in which they replaced along with the O ring. They replace the back iron casting. The motor was put back in and it smokes like a mother. What are the main things that makes the 7 smoke? Atkins told me to brake the car in for 600 miles and see if the smoke goes away. Need some suggetions. Turbo has already been rebuilt.

 

Could you possibly have lots of oil pooled up in your intercooler from before?

 

Oil in the catback or mid section?

 

rebuilt turbos are suspicious. were they smoking before the rebuild? does it smoke like the devil at idle or does it get worse with acceleration?
