I searched and didn't really find this exact problem. When starting the car either hot or cold it sits at 800 once regular temp., but once the rpms go above 1200 they stick at 1200. It stays perfectly at 1200 and will not drop below that. When it idles at 1200 it also has small popping backfires and wondering what this could be. Any info would be great, thanks.
