Step on taking out a transmission..expert please help!!

Hey guys. If you got some time,please give me some tips or steps ( including tools I need) of how to take out the transmission

I think they make a special attachment to your jack that helps with this.

first thing to do is take off all the 14mm bolts from the bell housing. (3 up top, but one is easier to get from the bottom, and the bottom ones) then take the starter off and then the last BH bolt hinden under it, then the plate on the bottom of bellhouse to loosen the bolts on the PP from the flywheel. then the rear brace going through the mount. then ( i think they are 21) the 21mm bolts for trany/diff mount. then the driveshaft (4 14mmbolts) and slide DS out and thats about it, other than the reverse light conector. hope that helps. it is a big job, but not imposibe.

tools...a 14mm long and short wrench, a 14mm socket, (i think) a 21mm impact socket, and and air tools make it a breeze
but you also need your 10 and 12mm sockets for the misc. BS covers and stuff like that. not many tools required.

oh and a lift wont hurt you either. doing this on a jack could get *sticky*, i dont know, but i wouldnt want to do it on the ground
