startup great!! idle not so great

So I start her up and she starts sweet-as, no smoke ( of any sort) and idle immediatly goes up to about 2.3 k then immediatly settles down to about 1k.

Then after about 1-2 mins of good solid idleing all of a sudden the idle drops down to about 500 - 800 rpm and goes all 'lumpy' and a bit of smoke starts coming out the exhaust ( kinda blueish and smelling a little acrid) but as soon as she warms up ( about 5-15mins ) she's all sweet and drives great and I dont have any problems.

I only drive my FD once a week, maybe twice to work and back.

Would this be a result of my FD sitting in the garage all week and not being driven? should I at least turn her over about 3 times a week?

BTW - my plugs are quite old, could they be a part of the problem?

If the plugs are old, it wouldnt hurt to change em, and clean your throttle body and adjust your tps, thatll take care of the idle
