Starting Problems.
First off I've read all about the Automatic's having starting problems, but I have a manual with the battery relocated to the bin and has been relocated for 1.5yrs or so.
Now the problem only happens sometimes and just started a month or so ago, and it is the click click click....START problem. This past weekend it happened the first two times I started the car, 1st was in the basement(haven't driven the car in a week) and the 2nd was after breakfast, it was probably 35-40F outside at this time. The rest of the day it was fine. And I was looking at my PFC when it cranked the first time compared to when it just clicked, and the voltage was 12.3-12.5 when it started normal, but it was only 11.3-11.5 when it would click a few times before starting. When the car is running it is reading normal 14.XX. Maybe a grounding issue?? But most everyone I talk to doesn't seem like the voltage difference should matter.
It is not the starter or solenoid I have changed those out. It's not the clutch switch or it wouldn't just catch by holding the clutch in, I would have to move it in and out. It also doesn't seem like it is the ignition switch because it does give a click everytime, and it wouldn't do that if it is not completing the circuit.
Any other thoughts would be appreciated.
