starting problems......

recently every once in a while the engine struggles to start. after I rev it up a few times its fine. This has only happend a few times but iam getting worried so any advice would be great. By the way it likes to do it when the motor is cold but it happend once when the motor was warm. my car has 78k miles also if that helps.

When was the last time you did the normal maintanence items: spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, etc... ?

10,000 miles ago. everythings been done maintenance wise. after I posted last though it did it again and it was putting out white smoke at first my friend said it smelld like gas but also recently my add coolant light came on. it wasnt down by much but I guess just enough for the add coolant light to come on. I am wondering if its time for a rebuiled???

Sounds like it. Make sure to do the normal coolant seal failure checks (check the filler neck for bubbles in the coolant, check the spark plugs for coolant on them, get a compression check).
