Starting Issues after upgrading fuel

Over the weekend I upgraded the secondaries to 1300cc and installed a Walbro pump and midpipe. I bypassed the throttle body for the coolant lines and screwed in the screw completely on the fast idle cam (took out the spring).

Car seems to run fine but whenever I start it, I need to gas it a little bit to get it started. It stutters otherwise and does not start. Is this related to what I did with the screw on the fast idle cam?

Other mods on the car are: intake, efini y-pipe, intercooler, downpipe, catback, pfc

also wanted to add that I cracked the plastic nipple that goes above the o ring where the fuel pump connects to the stock tube because it was smaller than the flared attachment on the fuel pump itself...is that thing necessary to stick in there or can i throw it out.

sounds like the fuel system has leak...seems to slowly lose pressure then prime when you get it going. check for leaks..fuel or air getting in somewhere....

well didnt smell fuel under the hood, nor did i see any fuel from the injectors leaking when i re-primed the system. I'll check the fuel pump again....might be that plastic nipple...

for the walbro users, did you reuse the stock plastic nipple above the o ring? it's definitely too small to squeeze onto the fuel pump outlet.
