Question Starter harness different manual to automatic?

Hi
I'm be doing a auto to manual swap , and read many info but didn't understand if there is any difference between this harness. Also my car is a 93 and will be putting a 94 complete engine and trans (if it makes a difference)?.
thanks

Yeah there is a difference. Once thing being that the auto harness passes voltage through the neutral safety switch on the auto trans, which you will have to overcome.

There are other differences, but off the top of my head, not sure...

The neutral safety switch interact between the ignition switch and main harness!

The starter harness is slightly different in the way it connect because the auto starter is not in the same place of the manuel starter. But is has the same fonction and the auto harness can be use in a manuel car. Also the manuel harness can be use in an auto car!

I have an auto to manuel swap and i use the Auto starter harness with all the other harness (main, dash, firewall) from an manuel car and it work as it should with the safety clutch switch still functionnal!

Scuse my english

Eric
