I know the rx7 has a start up system, that when the car is cold it will rev to 3000rpm and boost oil pressure to about 120psi, then cut off and go to regular idle. But my problem is that it will do that a majority of the time but sometimes it won't and it will have a shity start up idle, it will start shake a lot like it is missfiring. Then when it is at normal operating temperature it will be fine. Anyone know what might be the problem?

 

it's cold... the valve is not opening all the way.. most people bypass it anyway
