Squeaking!!! Driving me crazy

OK my FD is squeaking like a bad mattress in the front. I just changed out all 6 pillow ball bushings in the back and it helped out the noise in back but now I have nonstop squeaking up front. Even when I step into my car to start it the car squeaks, thats how easy it happens. I bought the car about 6 months ago and it had Illumina adjustables struts and racing beat springs and both look to be pretty new. Any suggestions??

Can you tell what side the squeak is coming from? Are you sure it isn't coming from the Illuminas?

There is supposed to be a thin white plastic washer thing that goes between the upper shock mount and the chassis. If that is missing, you will get that annoying squeaking. Happened to me once. Reinstalled the white plastic gasket thing and squeak went away.

You can probably get that from Ray at Malloy Mazda. His number is in the FAQ thread.

I'll have to check that washer out. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow or the day after. Any other suggestions anyone?

Yeah, imagine my frustration when I forgot to put those on my rear shock mounts. I was too lazy to take them back off and reinstall them. So far, no squeak.

A loose hood latch will causes squeaks as well as the hood rubs against the two rubber stops.
