Thumbs down Spring perch ?

Well I found another part that was stripped out on my car . I was working on my engine when I noticed that my strut bar was loose. I tried to tighten it and it did nothing. So once again I have to put pressure on it and unscrew it. The stud and nut are completly done for. So I ask this question do I have to replace the whole spring perch or can the stud be replaced?

The new spring perches are pretty cheap, especially as far as FD parts go. Higher mileage ones are pretty nasty usually.

Dude, where everyone gets their Mazda parts....Malloy Mazda. Just give Ray Crowe there a call.

Even better, if you auto-x just twice a year, you can become a member of Mazda Motorsports and get parts cheaper than the dealer does.

It's been a while since I bought new ones, but I remember them being about $45-50 each from MMSports, so Malloy's price will likely be $5-8 higher/each.
