Spraying the radiator?
Would this be pointless? It would seem easy to spray off the radiator to get a quick 10-20 degree drop in temps just like the intercooler sprayers. Would come in handy sittin in a traffic jam just give it a spray ever now and then. I dunno...just a thought.

Not sure it would be worth it... if your fans are working properly, you temps really won't exceed 100c or so even in traffic w/ an upgraded rad. It could be that this would be useful on the track, but i think the consensus is that proper ducting and oil cooler upgrade are the better way to go to control track temps...
Unlike an IC, as long as your water temps are well under the trouble threshhold, your fine... its not like the temp has a direct effect on power the way that air temps do...

I don't do it in traffic but after a hard autox run I always spray the radiator down with the car idleing and the fans on. Water temp comes down considerably quicker. On the street I wouldn't bother.

I don’t think pointless just is it worth the headache and the money to install it.
The effectiveness of the latent heat of evaporation for water is increasable and very cheap/effective.
But if you are having cooling problems its probably better to resolve the problem than just bandage it in my opinion.
do you have a upgraded big aluminum radiator?
